It Almost Didn't Happen...
After a near perfect growing season, our vines were overflowing with an abundance of grape clusters just waiting to be picked. For years, large and small wineries purchased the fruit from this special vineyard to produce beautiful wines. Sadly, in 2025, they had nowhere to go as the industry reset.
With late September storms on the way, we had two choices: let the fruit shrivel on the vine or make some wine.
We picked. We stomped. We called our friends.

A Living Piece of Sonoma History
Maggie’s Reserve Vineyard was first planted in 1901. It’s a Registered Heritage Vineyard with the Historic Vineyard Society and home to some of the oldest head-trained vines in Sonoma Valley.
